Hello Family and Friends,
I thought we would ask you all about how your Sunday evenings with your family have allowed more enrichment, and help sustain your family throughout the coming week?
Our family loves to get together, and many times it is in our home. Angel and the girls usually put together a very large meal (usually following our fast) and like this evening, we all enjoy watching football, beginning tonight with the new season! I'm sure the 'Cards' have just enjoyed their opener with a big W! and that will probably be their first and last! lol
Ashlee is now making her famous Choc Chip Cookies (AWESOME!!!) they are truly the BEST!
We all love to walk around the neighborhood together...wished it was alittle more cooler, but we still do it. This is one of our traditions that has been going on since Great Grandpa Johnson wheeled his kids and grand kids in a wheelbarrow. So now we just get out the strollers and wagons, skate boards and scooters, and occasionally the 'Rollerblades'.
I know many of you have those wonderful Sunday 'Evening Traditions'... I have been to other families and their homes, who have some real cool ideas that they have done to help keep their families strengthen and together. We have occasionally incorporated some of them into our own lives.
Please share with us your favorite Sunday Evening Traditions...like the Bishop Davis family in Eagar, AZ...They like to make homemade 'Tacos'!!! The Davis's also invite many friends and families throughout the years, and we have been the recipients of those GREAT evenings of FUN and FOOD and especially 'Wholesome Entertainment' with sweet laughter and lifelong FRIENDSHIPS that will last for eternity!!! We miss our Round Valley Friends!
Our Sunday evenings can be competitive at times...Especially when those family 'board games' break open! and then the chips and salsa, and soda come to the table! Yes...this is even when we have had a large dinner just previous! We love to snack! Thank Goodness Grandma Angel sets a great example of faithful exercises during the week! She exercises for us all!!!
May we all continue to generate more and more Family Evenings...During these days when the 'Family' is being torn-apart by all the busy non-productive, and productive experiences of the week, I sometimes wonder if just FHE on Monday Night is enough to keep us together anymore.
Best of Times,
Ateam

I love our sunday tradition! you guys make it so nice to come home and be together as a family! we love you so much!! YOUR THE BEST!
We are so lucky to get to enjoy each and every sunday afternoon-evening with David and Andra's family. It's a great time when we rush home after church, change our clothes and run back out to the Johnson's. Delicious food, a yummy dessert to follow and lots of good converstaions! Sometimes we sit out back and enjoy the weather, sometimes it's the board games, or good ol' family videos... sometimes it's a nice long walk, other times it's a fun little game of family kickball...shhh!! Don't tell on us for that one!! It's a sad day for us all when one of us is out of town!! Thanks for the great reminder of the "SUNDAY TRADITIONS" that we are setting for our families futures!! Love you guys! Glad to see you joined us in the blogging world! :)
